A stand of trees cover the tracks in shadows, but the nose of the SD45 crosses a beam of sunlight that has found its way on to the tracks as the Harbor turn heads to Banks.
Almost to Albany!
Moments after I got this shot, the air dumped and the train blocked the northern 3/4 of Front Street for about 30 minutes while the conductor walked the train and I played taxi service.
The southbound run of the OE Express passes under the old SP, now P&W's Westside District, Tualatin River bridge. The blue cards in the 3606/3604 say they are SD45-2's.
