031-805 is leaving the Kanawat station in Damascus with a short passenger train to Serghaya
The locomotive 031-805 has been built in 1894 in Switzerland by the SLM. It is an ex rack engine that was used in Lebanon. This part of the line is unfortunately no more existing.
The line between Serghaya and Damascus is very scenic. It runs through a beautiful gorge section into the the Anti-Lebanon mountains.
