A rare Farmrail SW9 sits in Clinton waiting for its next assignment.

Built as ACL 687 SW9 in November 1951, to SCL 169, after retirement from SCL/Family Lines history is sketchy, to Farmrail FMRC 169.

The first rays of the sun catch this locomotive which began on ACL, became SCL and wound up out here where the sun will soon heat the air to 105 and no rain has fallen for months.
