Back when you could still see SD50s on road trains, a pair led this westbound autorack train over the historic bridges of Harpers Ferry.

Out along the former Pure Marquette on a sunny friday summer afternoon, as local train L305 roars out of Howell with a pair of CSX’s finest EMDs and 50 cars for Lansing.

CSX 8619 leads CSXT L305 though the Trowbridge Diamond heading west back to the yard in Lansing Michigan.

Standard cabs only on M560 tonight made it feel like the clock rolled back at least a decade. The Fairport train viewing platform is visible in the background.
