The original GP7. CNW 1518, the original GP7, has been restored to its hi-hood status and is on display in Council Bluffs for the CNWHS convention being held there in 1987.
For a special Rail Expo held in Duluth during the fall of 1988 C&NW borrowed (from IRM) the first GP7 built and an overhauled SD45 for display. Made for a neat photo.
