At the end of the day on April 21, 2017, Copper Basin Railway’s unit train departs Ray Junction, Arizona, led by CBRY No. 302, a rebuilt GP40 classified as a GP40-3.

The sun has just set behind the mountains as Copper Basins unit train works up the grade at Ray Junction,AZ on its way to the mine.
The Unit Train is descending the hill from the smelter to the yard and will then head west to the mine at Ray.
The westbound Local is just past the junction switch with the Ray Branch at Ray Junction. The Local usually runs at night or very late afternoon, so a day time run was a treat.
OT-1 is eastbound with 45 loads of copper ore.
