With only a couple of miles left till the summit of Ash Hill, four GE motors hustle a long pool Z-train up the steep grade as the crew races towards the final destination of San Bernardino, CA.

The last rays of sunlight illuminate the desert landscape as a San Bernardino 'long pool" train races away from Ash Hill and prepares to enter a 65 MPH and 45 MPH curve at Ludlow.
