The first eastbound train on the Brush Sub after sunrise was BNSF 4313 (Dash9), leading a manifest train out of Denver.

Near sunset, a westbound vehicle train departs Galesburg Yard by flying over the main line that heads for southern Illinois, and then curves onto the Ottumwa Sub to head west.

Long Beach bound stacks struggle up the 1.0% grade of the Crookton Cutoff and swing through the impressive high-speed s-curves West of Eagle Nest on a spectacular Winter afternoon.

BNSF 4313 glides under the signal bridge at West Hoffman. How long these signals will last with PTC coming is anyone's guess.
