Skirting the shore of Lake Pend Oreille just west of Hope, Idaho, is a westbound BNSF train led by Santa Fe GE C44-9W No. 694 on the afternoon of September 5, 2003.
Early in the era of the BNSF, it was hard to tell that anything had changed. Four ATSF locomotives lead a wb pig train through Franklin Canyon at Christie.
