Oh man did they roar, these mixed second generation assemblages shoving on yet another eastbound coaler.

NS #1800 leads Lambert's Point coal loads across Bridge 7 next to the parallel Gilmerton Bridge that carries US 460 across the Elizabeth River.

One wonders just how many of the empty hopper trains have passed under that bridge over the years, heading back for more coal.
