In Nanpio the mikados are amoung the dirtiest anywhere but they work them hard from morning till night. The crew does not have much time for rest. For us watching, this is not a bad thing.
The two morning steam hauled passenger trains have left together on schedule. Pulling hard, head to head into the morning haze they each have a hard grade to climb once they switch off..
