GAXX 1678 one of a few critters that work the Gerdau Ameristeel plant just southeast of Saint Paul Minnesota.

Just underway to start a day of moving gons full of reclaimed steel scrap to be recycled into rebars and billets.

A year and one month later I was given the opportunity to shoot Gerdau Ameristeel's SW1200 once again, this time in the dead line with an ex-Raritan River Steel crane instead of Railroad: Gerdau Ameristeel
