After being on the property almost a year, these two GP's are finally in a nice spot together. Considering the amount of snow, those plows seem to be a bit of overkill in Chicago!
One of the neatest switchers I've ever seen, Border Steel SW14 1442, former IC 1442, fresh from the Dixmoor paint booth sits outside the shops waiting to be interchanged to the CSXT.
An old Chessie GP40 relocated toward the front of the shops, sits among debris awaiting it's rebuild date. This particular unit will get a second chance at life operating as BNSF GP38-2 2020.
