This shot was taken from the Dover side of the river. The train however was still on the Needham side. The horn on this particular locomotive was in fact a single note air whistle.

This bridge is the hole leading into Connecticut making bootleggers safe from aprehension by Massachusetts authorities. It was sometimes referred to as the "Bootlegger's Tunnel."
