FEC 204 at St. Augustine
It's Thanksgiving on the FEC or what they call on the railroad, Thursday. High water again in the Nations Oldest City on a foggy morning as 202 with one of the Grupo tenders rolls north.

Tidal surges from storm Nicole have the river swollen as 210 makes it's way to Bowden
The water is high due to storm Nicole, as FEC 204 heads north with amazingly a 3 SD40-2 lashup on this GE railroad. EMD power on thru trains is rare but occasionally does happen on 103/204
Storm Nicole has already brought higher tides as three EMD's lead 204 across the tidewater. Pretty rare to get EMD leaders on thru trains.

About an hour after 204 made it's pass the Miami - Jax 202 rumbles over an incoming tide.
The 204 is one of the more unique trains on the FEC this time featuring a reactivated SD40-2. The 204 can have almost anything in it's consist runs Tue - Sat Fort Pierce to Jax.
