Many people live on railway stations in Bangladesh. They do offer some shelter from rain and sun. Metre gauge 2613, built by GMD in Ontario in 1988, stands with a freight train at Sylhet.

Metre gauge MLU-14, built by Montreal Locomotive Works in 1969, calls at Srimangal with the kushiara Express, 0820 Sylhet to Akhaura.

It must be the coconut harvesting season in Bangladesh, as passengers on train 31, the 11h50 Rajshahi - Parbatipur "Uttara Mail" have decided to increase the luggage capacity of the train!
