395 comes off the NS at CP 437 and heads west on the CN with a BCOL C40-8M trailing.
Hmm.. something tells me that Scooterb's camera batteries died just before this shot, but at least Hall got it. Awesome to see a caboose on an NS train, even if it's right after the engines.

A pair of -8M cowl bodies are in charge of a westbound intermodel as they roll through South Bend, crossing over briefly onto NS rails.
A standard cab GE C40-8 leads a westbound NS freight through South Bend near Twyckenham Drive.
NS 24Z east meets NS 21M West at CP 435 under ex NYC cantilever on NS waterlevel route.
Just minutes after the OCS passed, westbound 35J comes around the curve on track 2 and into some sunshine. A thunderstorm just missed us and the dark clouds make for a dramatic background.
The clouds rolled in and it had begun to rain just before the arrival of the NS OCS near downtown South Bend, IN.
