MRL SD45-2 382 leads the Day Gas back east into Missoula on the morning of May 18, 2009. It's seen here coming down Evaro Hill near Ladyslipper Crossing.
Built as SCL #2029, MRL 382 was at work yesterday hauling a train load of old ties over Bozeman Pass Complete with caboose.
MRL 382 is on an unmanned helper set helping the Laurel to Spokane freight up Bozeman Pass. The real power for the train was BNSF 8034.
MRL's Missoula-Laurel road freight heads eastward.
