CSX 8888 appears out of the fog

One nice thing about the prevalence of leasing companies is that they keep some of our favorite old locomotives on the road, often in quite appealing paint schemes.

A CSX local complete with caboose works its way through Fostoria, on and off the main to stay clear of the through freights.

Perhaps we should bring back cabooses, just to give a hint as to what railroad is running the train. Would you have any idea that this was a Norfolk Southern operation?
