Late in the day on 31 May, Southern 630 highballs northward to Lexington, KY, crossing the bridge at South Fork.

A couple miles south of Stearns, the excursion passes through the community of Revilo as the 2-8-0 stretches its legs, keeping the train at a steady 40 miles per hour.

Southern 630 leads the southbound New Royal Palm excursion under the endangered searchlights and signal bridge south of Danville.

Nearly twenty years has passed that the area has seen steam. Southern 630 steam engine is returning from Danville, KY on it's way to Ludlow, KY to complete an excursion run on Norfolk Southern.
