Picking up speed after stopping to throw a switch, Job 1 moves off the Millinocket Sub and onto the .9 mile KI Sub on its way to the yard at Brownville, and eventually, Canada.

Finally recieving clearance to proceed south, Job 1 moves away from the Millinocket Station, heading for Brownville.

MMA's Searsport Local moves south along the former Bangor & Aroostook main to Searsport, crossing Rt. 202 in Hampden. The closer set of lights is new since the last time I photographed this line.

203 races south a few miles south of the Derby shops. In the consist are 2 former CDAC F40s, modified for freight service. Bring up the markers for the train was MMA 1, the tri-colored boxcar.

RURJ works west out of the yard in preperation to do some switching. Here they pass under the well known 'Railfan Bridge', a very popular photography spot.

GP-9 #71 and GP-7 #15 idle at the west end of Waterville Yard. Guilford still has 10 GP-7 or 9s on the roster. The 2 remaining GP-7s are ex-Maine Central and the 8 GP-9s are Ex Boston & Maine.

Tonight's Bucksport local has arrived in town. The crew cut off the 7 empty box cars at the north end of the yard, and now are reversing off the passing siding and onto the main.

These geeps having just arrived in town, rest for the night across from the Guilford shack at Bucksport. The power will remain tied down until a crew arrives in the morning to switch the mill.

NBSR 902 puts together a larger than normal train at the east end of Brownville Jnt on a very cold morning. The temperature at the operation shack was -2F, located behind the green crate.
