The Skeena is getting ready to head west for Prince Rupert
On New Year's Day some local boys organize a hockey game, and an ice fisherman on the far side of the lake stoops over the hole as the "Skeena" heads west.
The sole passenger train that regularly operates in the eastern edition of the CP-CN directional-running territory (VIA train 2 runs down the CN Bala Sub on alternate days).
VIA 6436, 6446 and 6402 bring number one to a slow for the arrival at Jasper.
