MILW 261 was detached from the train for display while all the passengers got off for lunch at Bongards.

Second day across the TC&W, second runby after lunch....and it was amazing.

After a successful weekend of running tips out of the Twin Cities, Milwaukee Road 261 crosses over the Mississippi River in downtown Minneapolis on their way back to their home shop.

261's crew prepares to layover for the night for the next day's excursions, while us foamers were busy photographing the locomotive.

The train heads west to Glencoe past some old rural structures, which probably have seen locomotives such as 261 back in the day.

On a bright fall morning, 261 heads west with the excursion train to Glencoe past the iconic farm in Augusta. This was probably the most photographed farm in the state this weekend.
