Great paint job by Strasburg Railroad to return the 33 back to it's orginal Pennsylvania paint and number.
Looking north at the one of the WRM's maintenance shops, with equipment outside including Visalia Electric 502 and one of SF Muni's first modern LRV's.
A fan trip on the now closed Stewartstown Railroad ties up at the end of the line in Stewartstown
SRC 33 sits outside the shop under early morning clouds.
Strasburg's former Pennsylvania 44-tonner (ex- PRR 9331) in the yard at Strasburg.
ex Bay Colony
Ex MEC?
On "Rat Patrol" through the tunnel. We went through this tunnel 6 times delivering 5 cars to local industry.
This little engine is powered by two 190 hp Caterpillar diesel engines. It was once a U.S. Air Force locomotive.
A 3 hour cab ride, switching local industry, was the highlight of the day. Many thanks to the guys from the SSRR :)
Remote control, from the front steps!
The this 44-tonner has been undergoing rehabilitation on the SJRR property and will probably be used for yard switching.
