The famed Conrail Heritage unit is on the point of loaded coal train 578 as it soars over the Tuscarawas River in Massillon, quickly approaching CP Mace.

With traffic ahead clear, the light pops up for Q233, and the train slowly moves into town for a crew change on the northwest connection. A lease locomotive of BNSF vintage is trailing.

Q231 wraps around the southeast connection in Deshler and heads south towards Leipsic and beyond, ducking beneath a vintage B&O signal cantilever.
