T804 has left the crowded Kowloon Peninsula for the mountains of the New Territories. Not too far ahead and just over the border with China is Shenzhen, another large city.

T816 is close to the Chinese border as it parallels the Fanling Highway, Route 9. Since it is a Sunday traffic on the highway is light, but the MTR East Rail Line is busy as always.

Just coming out from the 5.5 km Tai Lam Tunnel and is running towards Tuen Mun. The track with the train wash facilities is going to the Pat Heung Maintenance Centre.
