I had the pleasure of driving up from Mississippi to go see the first engine I ever rode behind. I forgot how beautiful Virginia is, but it was a great weekend!

Rain won't deter a group of about 100 people who are standing trackside in Bealton, VA as the N&W 611 puts on quite the show heading to Manassas for the weekend's excursions.

Working through downtown Bedford, N&W 611 steams past the "Big Otter" CPL on it's eastbound journey on the NS Blue Ridge District.

Steaming down the Blue Ridge Grade, N&W 611 splits a pair of iconic CPL's at Villamont, Virginia. This is truly pure Norfolk and Western railroading. Thanks to everyone who made this possible!

Putting on a magnificent show climbing up and out of Roanoke on the NS Blue Ridge District, N&W J Class Steam Locomotive 611 splits the N&W CPL's at Webster, Virginia on a dead head move.

NW 611 leads NS 956 past Montpelier, VA, the Home of President James Madison. The old train station is now used as a post office.
