The Green Mountain Railroad Bellows Falls Subdivision train 264 is westbound past the Chester Depot with NREX B23-7 4212, CLP GP38 203 and GMRC GP40 304 with 50 cars for Rutland.
The conductor climbs off the caboose as GMRC 401 arrives Chester Station. I wonder if the owner of the VW Bug works for the railroad? Judging by the license plate "RAIL", I think he does.
After the crew had a quick bite to eat, they resume their way south towards Bellows Falls, VT with train 263.
GMRC 302 heads towards Bellows Falls, VT at about 10mph.
CLP 204 and CLP 306 haul the eastbound freight out of Chester bound for Bellows Falls.

With the regular engine busy taking an excursion to Rutland, the regular runs to Chester had to use a Geep from the freight pool. Still, the red paint did look nice in the bright sunshine.
