25NC No. 3472 attacks the 2% grade westbound from Slabberts, in this recreation of a classic 13 car passenger train, as pulled by these magnificent Northerns until steam ended in 1987.

With frost on the ground and smoke clinging to the mountainside, 25NC 3472 recreates the golden age of steam on the Bethlehem-Bloemfontein line at Slabberts.
