Purchased new by the E&LS

A pair of former Oregon California & Eastern Baldwins recently acquired by the E&LS rest in back of their shop at Wells (Escanaba). E&LS 211 was OC&E 7911.

I was never able to see these operate but I did catch one sunning itself outside the E&LS shop complex while there on business. The two Baldwin RF-16 Sharks are still there from what I understand.... (more)

Pretending to be a Alco, by pouring out the smoke. CNW SD18's 6636,6647 work the Dumper Job at Wells. The two units were originally SD24's but were rebuilt to SD18 status by CNW.

With a big wave from the engineer CNW 6701,6718,6704 roll around the curve at Wells during the last spring of CNW Alco operations.
