The Corona Local's Santa Fe caboose leads a shove up the spur at Casa Blanca in Riverside. Unfortunately this caboose would be destroyed in a collision with a truck a few months later.

A Norfolk & Western caboose has found its way to Conrail’s Allentown yard, most likely on a Delaware & Hudson train. Class C-9 caboose 557784 was built as Nickel Plate 784.

Spotless CP 434957 is on the tail end of the Dorion Turn as it switches at Dural. In the immediate foreground is the since removed CN/CP interchange track.

An unmistakable Maine Central caboose punctuates a train leaving Rigby Yard in Portland, Maine. The trainman is striking a pose that would probably be frowned on in today’s safety culture.
