Feeling hot hot hot! At a scorching 2,300 degrees, a Gary Railway bottle car is pulled out of the blast furnace at the massive Gary Works steel mill.

This historic bottle car was constructed by Wm. B. Pollock Company of Youngstown, Ohio. It can be viewed at the Sloss Furnances National Historic Landmark in Birmingham, Alabama.
