The Chevron local nears home base, Roper Yard Salt lake City.

While shooting the BNSF Provo to Stockton, I heard a horn. To my good luck, it was the Salt Lake Garfield & Western emerging from under the bridge.

BNSF 9176 heads west out of town, with a few of downtown Salt Lake landmarks in the distance.

Stack train in disguise. About the first 10 cars were manifest, then 75 percent was stack cars, the end was auto racks. My best guess is it was the INPOA, but I don't really know for sure.

It was a busy evening in Salt Lake tonight. Making for a pretty late run for the the Utah Railway RUT311 local.

Grain season is getting going. This grain train block up the works in Salt Lake City North Yard for awhile. With a fresh crew they are on the roll again.
