After turning off of the former DW&P mainline north of Virginia, 6253 pounds hard to get up the step grade into the Minorca Taconite plane.

First repainted DM&IR unit to be used on home rails enters the Minorca taconite plant at 1135 am. The steam seen over the top of the train is from the nearly Minntac plant.
