Train 2708 is preparing to yard their train after turning 172 on the Wye. After yarding the train Taxi back west.

MP15AC 172 heading off the Wye at Montauk. 172 will couple onto the front of the train and back into Montauk Yard. The crew will then taxi out of Montauk heading west.

After Train 2708 the Geep is on the wye heading for the unguarded RR Crossing at Industrial Road. Reverse ends back onto the train and to the yard. Taxi back to Speonk on a Friday night.

Summer weekend layover at the yard.

Winter in Montauk is not as busy as the summer months. This day finds 2 trains in the station, which lies next to Montauk Manor on the right, built in the 1920's.
