Former Southern Pacific, now UP 2678, and SP 8300 have coupled on to the rear of an eastbound and are ready to shove the manifest train up San Timoteo Canyon.

Southern Pacific 8559 waits in the helper spur at Loma Linda for another eastbound train to help up Banning Pass.

UP 7033 is the lead unit on a loaded ribbon rail train at the Ice Deck.

SP 9019 waits patiently in the helper spur for the next eastbound train out of West Colton to arrive. Soon the helper set will be cut in to the train and begin the push east up Banning Pass.

With threatening skies behind, SP 3207 in SPSF colors cuts out the swing helpers at Loma Linda before proceeding Westward.

The Engineer that is working the helper set led by the SP 9321 is on the ground to give the SSW 9402 a roll-by as it highballs Eastbound. The 9402 is on a short, light Intermodal train so no help... (more)
