Tavares, Eustis & Gulf #2 pulls the Orange Blossom Cannonball back to the town of Tavares, Florida.

With engineer Thomas East at the throttle, Tavares Eustis & Gulf #2 crosses the Apopka Beauclair Canal as the train makes its return trip back the Tavares, FL.

After getting clearance, the Cannonball continues to head for Winter Garden seen at Lake Jem. This was the first steam into Winter Garden in over 50 years.

The Orange Blossom Cannonball is minutes away from finishing its run to Lake Jem. The locomotive will run around the train here and return to Tavares tender first.

The 1300hrs excursion rumbles past a small plantation enroute to Lake Jem on a warm afternoon.

Leased from the Reader Railroad in Arkansas, this wood-burning Mogul is used to power the “Orange Blossom Cannonball” excursion on FCEN rails between Tavares and Lake Jem, FL.
