Arranged at very short notice due to high fire risk on the Montagu Pass, GEA 4023 crosses the Malgaarten river between George and Mossel Bay.

A GEA class Beyer Garratt storms up the west side of the Montagu Pass, past the twin peaks, a couple of kilometers beyond Camfer.

At 101 years old, you would think 7A class 1007 would be doddering across the Kaaimans River Bridge, but she's stepping along quite smartly!
