Portland & Western power is tied down in Eugene

When Amtrak began its mail and express program in the late 1990s, some of the cars were rehabilitated in Oregon. On the Fourth of July 1997, some finished cars were spotted at UP's Eugene Yard.

SP SD9E 4363 at Eugene, Oregon in July 1991. The 4363 holds the honors as being the first high-hood SD to be repainted in the red/yellow bonnet scheme in 1986.
