One of the very few UP SD60Ms in service leads LTS82 back to Altoona after interchanging with the Wisconsin Northern at Norma.

LTS82 tacks onto their pickup from the WN, while a WN crew waits to start switching out LTS82's inbound train. I hope that the antenna on PGR 41 is long enough?

LTS82 departs Norma after interchanging with the Wisconsin Northern. Today's pickup consisted of 68 cars, most of which were sand loads.

LTS82 eases down the hill towards the Chippewa River with an SD40N and SD70M for power. Thankfully the 1819 was on the north end of this consist.

LTS82 puts together their train at Norma before heading back south towards Altoona. UP 6290 is one of the few patched SP units on the UP roster that haven't been repainted yet.

LTS82 is down on its knees as it climbs up the 1.25% grade out of Chippewa Falls with UP 1984-NS 9912-UP 6824-6944-6728 for power. They had 95 sand loads from the WN along with 6 empty scrap gondo... (more)
