RCPE's LBFRC makes its way north through Black Hawk, SD on the return trip toward Belle Fourche.
A trio of blue and yellow RCPE SD40-2's on the LBFRC 20 are in control of another train of bentonite clay passing under I-90 at Black Hawk and heading south for Rapid City.
LBFRC is again climbing a steep grade as they are only a few miles out of Rapid City.
A quartet of blue and gold EMDs rounds a curve en route down to Rapid City. They will return to Belle Fourche later in the day.
At this point, I began to wonder, does DM&E still run trains with blue and gold locos? Here, the light and paint are poor, but the elevation and earth cut make this interesting.
