Timeless scene on the Furka railway line.
HG 3/4 #9 hauling a passenger train over the Furka pass has just attacked the rack section a few hundred meters ago.
A passenger train from Realp is raring at the Tiefenbach station. On the platform, a few passengers are waiting for the train. A Peter Minder / Markus Fischer charter.
A passenger train is making a short stop at the Tiefenbach station to drop some passengers and to take water for the long and steep climb to the Furka summit.
At this point starts the rack section near Realp. From now on, the train will climb with a steep grade up to the Furka pass.
