Very interesing how the stalagmites form on the edge of the rail. I bet it was quite cold up there, too! Fantastic find!

Say now, we learned about this in school! The stalagmites are formed by water falling from the ceiling. And I thought that would never come in handy! Incredible shot!

You can see this exact same scene during really cold spells at the old Pigeon Mountain tunnel from the old Tennessee, Alabama, & Georgia (TAG) Railway in Walker County, Georgia. Great shot!!!
