this is where my dad worked. Great photo,, were you on the road comming down from boulevard east? I spent many a day and night here getting rides in the switcher spotting cars. Their were four tracks for the piggy back that held 12 trailers on each track. It was neat watching them back the trailers on the train to load. this was before the commandoes arrived. This yard was connected to North bergen through the tunnel, which is now a light rail. The Penn Truck Lines trailer yard was at both the weehawken yard and North bergen. In use to get rides in TV53 from North Bergen to Selkirk NY back in the 70's. My uncle Manny Marino (from North Bergen Fame) was the conductor and the Engineer was Newton Sweet from Dumont.
