That was a nice paint scheme they applied to #4449 back in the mid 1970's to celebrate the nation's bi-centennial. I wish I could have seen her painted that way. I was in the Reading 2101 led territory when the American Freedom Train pulled through Ohio in the mid 1970's. While I got to go through the American Freedom Train cars, the Reading 2101 was in the shop having some maintenance performed on her. Nice photo.
