Aside from being an interesting photo from an interesting location, there appears to be a narrow-gauge railroad running alongside the highway. Would love to get some information on that track. Thanks!

Thank you David for the compliments. Yes, it's the Ferrovia Transnordestina Logística mainline which goes from São Luís to Fortaleza.
