Interesting roofline. I'm guessing having the top pitched is to prevent rainwater from pooling on a flat roof.

I wonder if it's known what unit this was rebuilt from in Brazil? Sounds likely that it could've been one of the many SD40-types that was exported down there over the course of the early to mid '00s - American (or possibly Canadian) frame got to return home for a little while!
