Looking at Google Maps street view, between now in 2025 and then in 2007 the tracks have been either removed or covered and it appears the candy company across W Altgeld St behind photographer is likewise no longer functional at that location, https://maps.app.goo.gl/JtVBQ28Hw2xvUoLB9 Rails were still visible in street crossing W Wrightwood a block north then continuing up the middle of N Lakewood in 2019 street view image but are gone in 2025 image.

This reminds me of Chicago-native Steve Goodman's song "Lincoln Park Pirates," about a towing company in Lincoln Park, IL.
