Technically, this is known as a dump train, belt train, or conveyor train. A belt runs underneath the hopper cars, to a transfer car with a boom that can swing out to dump material trackside, or just dump it down the centerline of the track. A slot train is set of articulated gondolas unloaded by an excavator that moves from car to car.
