So true. The art of the digital photo age is now point your cell phone at whatever you’re shooting, snap a few shots, and delete the bad ones. Gone are the times when you had to know your equipment, comprise the scene ahead of time, and waiting for that ‘just right’ photo.

Jeff- and you really used to have to watch the numbers of exposures left on a roll of slide film. At least with a digital camera, you don't have to worry about that- just your battery running out of power at the wrong time! My slides from 1975-2000 are in Bell & Howell 40-slide capacity cubes and are easily found, but I wonder sometimes about the storage of digital images on cell phones, various computers, and in "the cloud."
